When designing, we placed great emphasis on the backrest, as it is one of the most prominent visual elements of any chair. The goal was to create an unconventional structural feature in this area while considering strength and manufacturability.

The seat and backrest are made of pressed wooden veneers. The seat has a circular shape with a slight rounding. The other parts are made from solid beech wood. The backrest is rounded only in the central section, as seen from the top view. This allows the legs to be joined perpendicularly, making the connection easier to manufacture.

The KRIOS dining chair is further complemented by a bar stool version and a lounge chair.
